Kaapd is a polyester knitted fabrics manufacturing company built around experimentation, control, and responsibility.
Founded by Shreemann Paliwal, a fourth-generation textile entrepreneur from a family with over 100 years of textile experience, Kaapd represents a focused shift towards knitted fabrics.
With in-house knitting machines along with in-house dyeing and digital printing, we maintain complete control from development to finished fabric. this end-to-end control allows us to freely experiment with new designs and patterns and has helped Kaapd build long-term relationships with leading fashion brands and retail chains across India.

Kaapd was launched to challenge an industry stuck in sameness bringing creativity, control, and consistency back to fabric development.
The industry had become repetitive, and the same fabrics were everywhere, with little room for creativity. In response, Kaapd was launched 8 years ago to challenge this pattern by adding creativity not only to fabrics, but also to the way they are developed.
The early focus remained on creating fabrics that were not already available, test them properly, and maintain consistent quality. Over time, this approach shaped our processes. Once consistency was built, innovation became a regular practice.
Today, Kaapd introduces new fabrics every month and works with brands that value originality, reliability, and long-term consistency. That is what Kaapd stands for: forging a bond between textile and fashion.
